The Tide Has Turned.

It is a welcomed event in my own personal realm of football that the Alabama Crimson Tide is on the right path again. It has been sometime, well years, well almost a decade, since the Tide has looked this good. The story is not how well they have done but what is ahead of the team that means the most. Alabama destroyed their first SEC challenge. Yes Arkansas is not the team of last year with out the running force of McFadden and Jones, but they are an SEC team. The true test happens in the next game. Alabama will have to face one of the top ranked teams in the SEC, Georgia in Georgia.

From the looks of the current Alabama team and the way they have been playing combined with their schedule this year, the Tide should only be challenged by three teams, Georgia, LSU, and Auburn. For the first time in years the VOLS are no longer on the list of teams Bama would have a hard time with. Knowing the SEC anything could happen, but in this writers opinion at worst the Tide will lose three games all year with all three being conference losses. The best case, which I am pulling for, would be to see the Tide again in Atlanta for the SEC championship game, most likely against Florida. Florida again looks to be the SEC team to beat. Georgia is a top team but something in me says they will blow it this year. But again this is my opinion; if you do not agree then let me know your thoughts on why I am way off in my thinking.
