This is the End

Well, I lost! LOL. So much for win out. Got smoked. So concludes another Fantasy season. So....now what do I talk about. Titans lost again. Resting Vanden Bosch and Haynesworth until post-season is a good idea. Time to put Vince in so he can prove to be a good offseason trade. Redskins have self destructed as predicted. Random thoughts are flowing. I am not looking forward to football season ending. The Gators are the only SEC team that I can not root for no matter what the situation.

WNT US soccer is doing well, MNT is not, as expected. I college soccer, Tar Heels and Terrapins went at it for the College Cup yesterday. WAY to go TERPS!!! Maryland beat North Carolina for the championship keeping the Tar Heels still in the hunt for their first NCAA title. We also get to welcome 2 new MLS teams to the country in the next two years. Seattle's team will join the league in 2009 and a team in Philly will join in 2010. GO American Pro Soccer.

The Tide Has Turned.

#9ALA (4-0)

ARK (2-1)

It is a welcomed event in my own personal realm of football that the Alabama Crimson Tide is on the right path again. It has been sometime, well years, well almost a decade, since the Tide has looked this good. The story is not how well they have done but what is ahead of the team that means the most. Alabama destroyed their first SEC challenge. Yes Arkansas is not the team of last year with out the running force of McFadden and Jones, but they are an SEC team. The true test happens in the next game. Alabama will have to face one of the top ranked teams in the SEC, Georgia in Georgia.

Aug. 30 vs. Clemson [ABC] W 34-10

Sept. 6 TULANE W 20-6

Sept. 13 WESTERN KENTUCKY W 41-7

Sept. 20 at Arkansas W 49-14

Sept. 27 at Georgia

Oct. 4 KENTUCKY

Oct. 18 OLE MISS

Oct. 25 at Tennessee

Nov. 1 ARKANSAS STATE

Nov. 8 at LSU

Nov. 15 MISSISSIPPI STATE

Nov. 29 AUBURN

From the looks of the current Alabama team and the way they have been playing combined with their schedule this year, the Tide should only be challenged by three teams, Georgia, LSU, and Auburn. For the first time in years the VOLS are no longer on the list of teams Bama would have a hard time with. Knowing the SEC anything could happen, but in this writers opinion at worst the Tide will lose three games all year with all three being conference losses. The best case, which I am pulling for, would be to see the Tide again in Atlanta for the SEC championship game, most likely against Florida. Florida again looks to be the SEC team to beat. Georgia is a top team but something in me says they will blow it this year. But again this is my opinion; if you do not agree then let me know your thoughts on why I am way off in my thinking.

Who can argue!!!!!!

Well, it's Saturday night, I'm so tired, but can't let the LSU v. Auburn game go....
What a game. The SEC is the BEST conference in football. That's right, I said it, " SEC FOOTBALL IS THE BEST IN THE NATION. Yes my VOLunteers got beat but what do you expect from Crompton and Fulmer (can you believe this man has an extension on his contract?). Anyway....

The South Eastern Conference has more top 10 teams than any other conference in NCAA football. No, I didn't research this... ESPN showed 4,5,6 & 10 are SEC teams before the weekend even started.... isn't that enough? And how about those Commodores. GO BLACK & GOLD. 23 to 17 against the Rebels. Again, an SEC match up. WE own football. Prove it wrong... I'm waiting.

Oh, and BY THE WAY!!!! BWM beat me in fantasy football even though I had the top 3 score in our league. (YES, he had the #1 score). This is my first year playing(NO EXCUSE). I will redeem..............Waiting for BWM's post in response. Any way(again).....

Good to see that Collins will start again for week 3. Never know when that will change. Young , plz. get help!!! we could at least use your salary for next year....

OUCH harsh!!!!!
